What is Concordia ?
Concordia is a non-profit organization founded in 1950 by English, German and
French youngsters. Their aim was to promote new values of tolerance and peace
after the Second World War by organizing international work camps of young
volunteers.
This year, Concordia is celebrating its 59th anniversary! Concordia has kept
the same approach since then by bringing together young people from more than
60 different countries. At present in France, in addition to its Paris head
office, Concordia is represented by 8 regional delegations: Aquitaine,
Auvergne, Ile-de-France, Picardy/Nord Pas de Calais, Normandy/Maine,
South South-West, Rhone-Alps and Brittany.

This local aspect of the organization, in close collaboration with the Paris national head office, which coordinates the activities, enables you to prepare as well as possible young people’s stay in the French international work camps.
Concordia is run by a Board of Directors composed for the majority of young volunteers.
But Concordia also counts 1800 members, more than 28 employees and 200 coordinators.
