Attention ! Pour s’inscrire sur un chantier dans un pays du Sud il faut :
- Etre âgé de 20 ans minimum.
- Budgéter son chantier au préalable, en tenant compte des frais de participation qui seront demandés sur place par la plupart des associations. Le montant est indiqué dans le descriptif de chaque chantier.
- Envoyer sa fiche d’inscription (en anglais !) accompagnée d’une lettre de motivation.
- Prévoir sa participation à l’un des weekends de préparation au départ qui ont lieu chaque année en juin et juillet !

Field Services and Intercultural Learning est une jeune association dynamique qui s’est développée au départ grâce au support de NICE Japon, tout comme GREENWAY en Thaïlande ou MCE en Mongolie. L’association propose de nombreux projets sociaux avec des minorités ou communautés en difficulté. Nous avons choisi de laisser les descriptifs en anglais car un niveau correct est nécessaire pour participer à ces chantiers.
Attention : l’inscription est réservée aux volontaires expérimentés ayant au moins une première expérience de chantier.
Projet : FSL India has adopted one street in Kundapur and is raising awareness on the need of recycling and organic compost making by engaging the local community. This street is a small scale model to trial this scheme and in future we hope it will be replicated and scaled up for the benefit of many. There are no limitations to this project in so far as development is concerned. However, fixed work (school sessions, Eco-friendly street and Eco clubs, and community work) will be the usual events for the volunteers to participate in but they are encouraged to bring in their innovations, suggestions and creativity to the project.
Situation :
Kundapura, the headquarters of the Kundapura Taluk, about 36 km from Udupi. Kundapura railway station is about 4 kilo metres from the town. The nearest airport is Mangalore International Airport, around 100 km from Kundapura.
